When your daughter decides Uni is not for her, all she wants to do is find an apprenticeship in the City as either an insurance underwriter /broker, which nowadays is like one in a million chance, and with no help or guidance from the School as they only seem to want to focus on Uni application, so where do you start…. Not only was my daughter battling mentally with the loss of her father turning to Cecilia was a lifeline as a parent, from day one Cecilia took control and worked on bringing out all her confidence discussing what her dream was and how they was going to achieve it. Cecilia worked with her on her CV/cover letters as this is key to even getting a foot in the door, as the interviews started to come in it was a long process from completing online assessments to video about yourself to phone interviews and then the assessment days and at every step, Cecilia was there to talk and help her through.
Cecilia did the most amazing interview training with her; I could see her getting more and more confident. Quite honestly Cecilia mentoring her direct was the best thing kept me out of it rather than us ending up arguing, we were able to discuss, she would tell me what she had learnt. The growth was just so beautiful to see, how she really believes in herself and her ability. With that confidence and amazing strength she secured an Apprenticeship with Markel - a leading insurance company in the city.
